 Basilios Papaioannou has a deep interest in found and recycled objects, especially  real estate signs made from printed corflute plastic. The pieces represent aerial views of Sydney’s urban landscape. They embody suburban sub divisions, road intersections, built forms, infrastructure and unsustainable development. Some contain scars, holes, scratches and graffiti, that are purposely left to show the history of the material, coinciding with the history and how we use our cities today.
